Wireless Systems
Multi-protocol wireless hardware design across LoRa, BLE-LR, sub-GHz mesh, Wi-Fi, Thread, Matter, and 4G/LTE — tuned for range, power, and data.
Explore the ArchitectureArchitecture
A wireless system at DSPWorks is engineered as four explicit layers — front-end, modem, link, and application — and we own all four.
The modem layer is a SoC platform we have fluency in: Nordic, TI, Silicon Labs, Espressif, and Quectel for cellular/ GNSS. Every design is bench-characterised against an vector network analyser before silicon is locked, and a rigorous test and design process is maintained.
Link and application layers run on our own protocol stack where possible — Meshstatic on LoRa, a custom 802.15.4g routing layer for sub-GHz mesh — and ship as commercial firmware to OEM partners.
Engineering Approach
We may start with a link budget but ensure the range and power requirements are met and assist with our expertise in propagation studies, protocols and PHY/ MAC development expertise.
Regulatory pre-compliance happens in our lab before submission, with a full conducted-emissions and spurious-emissions sweep at the development bench. Our certification pass-rate on the first formal submission is well above industry average for that reason. We also strictly adhere to local and global ITU/ radio regulations.
Standards & Compliance
Indian compliance is to TEC specifications, ETSI EN 300 220 (sub-GHz), EN 300 328 (2.4 GHz), and EN 301 893 (5 GHz). FCC compliance covers Part 15.247 and Part 22 / 24 for licensed cellular bands. Wi-Fi Alliance, Bluetooth SIG, CSA (Matter / Zigbee), and LoRa Alliance certifications are obtained as the product family demands.
Coexistence testing follows ETSI EN 303 446 and CSA / Bluetooth coexistence guidelines. EMC immunity is to IEC 61000-4 family for the relevant operating environment.
