Make in India is more than a label for us — it is a design philosophy. Every product is engineered for Indian-grade power, dust, humidity, and supply chain realities first, then exported globally. That decision changes part selection, derating, and BOM strategy from day one. A product engineered for India will survive anywhere; the reverse is not always true.
We design, assemble, qualify, and support from the same facility. There is no offshore loop, no overseas service contract, no parts-availability surprise three years into the lifecycle.
Process
Engineering and manufacturing share a single PDM system, so a schematic change is reflected in the production line before the next batch is built. New product introduction follows a five-gate process — pilot, DFM iteration, EVT, DVT, PVT — with engineering and ops signing off jointly at each gate. Time from a frozen design to first commercial production is typically eight to twelve weeks.
End-of-line testing is automated and product-specific. Every unit shipped runs through a fixture that exercises every functional block, captures the calibration data, and writes a serialised record to our manufacturing database.
Deliverables
We deliver finished, tested, packaged product, ready for customer dispatch. Each shipment carries an inspection report, a calibration trace, and a traceable serial number that ties back to the BOM revision, firmware version, and operator who built it. Reverse logistics — RMA, refurbishment, end-of-life recycling — is handled at the same facility.
For OEM partners we operate as a private-label manufacturing arm, including custom branding, region-specific certifications, and dedicated stock pools.
Achievements
We are the production home for our own consumer brand (Vāyu BLDC fans, Smritimegh edge servers) and for OEM partners across home automation, utility metering, and industrial IoT. Cumulative production volume is in the hundreds of thousands of units, deployed across India and exported to Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
The facility holds ISO 9001:2015 certification and is BIS / RDSO recognised for the relevant product categories. Audit reports are available to qualified buyers under NDA.
