Whatever It Takes to Turn It On
Hardware, firmware, RF, software, mechanical — we own the entire stack until the product actually works in the field.
See Our ApproachApproach
The single failure mode that kills hardware programmes is boundary handoff — the moment a hardware vendor says "the FW team should fix this" while the firmware vendor says "the board is broken." We hold one accountability line. The same team owns the schematic, the bootloader, the cellular handshake, and the iOS provisioning flow.
That accountability is unusual in this market and intentional on our part. It is also what allows us to take on rescue projects — partial deliveries from other vendors that need to be turned into a working product without a full restart.
Process
We start by establishing a minimum-viable-power-on — the shortest path to a unit that boots, attaches, and reports. From there, the team walks the stack outward in lockstep: RF tuning while the firmware reaches feature-parity; cloud telemetry while the mobile app pairs; production tooling while the mechanical case is finalised. Nothing is left for "later."
Stand-ups are mixed-discipline, not siloed. A radio engineer sees the firmware merge requests; a cloud engineer sees the EMC test plan. The cost is meeting overhead; the benefit is that integration surprises surface in days, not weeks.
Deliverables
You receive a working, field-deployable product — not a stack of artefacts to integrate. Every layer of the stack is signed off against the same acceptance test: hardware passes EOL, firmware passes the regression suite, the cloud passes load tests, and the mobile app passes the App Store / Play Store reviews. The product turns on, talks home, and updates over the air.
The same team stays on after launch for the first 90 days of field rollout, watching telemetry, triaging the early support tickets, and hot-fixing what the field actually finds.
Achievements
This practice has rescued more than a dozen stalled hardware programmes for clients including consumer brands, industrial IoT operators, and Tier-1 OEMs. We have taken products from "doesn't connect" to "shipping at scale" inside a single quarter when the prior team had been at it for over a year.
The recovery work is rarely glamorous and almost always under NDA, but the references are strong, and we are happy to put a CTO on the phone with you.
Other ways we work with you.
Concept to Product
Bring us your idea at any stage — napkin sketch, partial spec, or a prototype that isn't quite working. We'll help you define, design, and build it into something real.
