Engineering Consultation
Senior engineering advice on hard problems — embedded systems, wireless, safety. Our scope spans well beyond railways.
See Our ApproachApproach
Our consultation practice exists because most hardware teams hit one or two genuinely hard problems per year — a radio that won't certify, a safety case that won't close, a firmware architecture that won't scale — and they don't need a year-long retainer to solve them. They need someone with thirty years of scar tissue to walk in for a week, name the actual problem, and show the way out.
We send senior engineers, not consultants. The person who reviews your safety case has personally written safety cases that have shipped to passenger rail. The person who reviews your radio has personally certified to TEC, FCC, and CE.
Process
The engagement starts with a scoping call and a one-page brief — what is broken, what is the deadline, what has already been tried. From there we propose a fixed-scope engagement: typically a week of deep review, a written report, and a presentation back to the engineering team and stakeholders.
Where the work needs follow-on hands — implementing a fix, retuning a radio, restructuring a firmware codebase — we either staff that ourselves or recommend a partner. We are not in the business of expanding scope unnecessarily; the consult itself is often enough to unblock the team.
Deliverables
You receive a written technical report, scoped exactly to the problem statement and structured for two audiences — the engineering team that will act on it, and the executive stakeholders who need to understand the risk. Findings are graded on a severity scale, with each finding tied to a recommended remediation and an effort estimate.
A live read-out session walks the team through the report and answers questions in detail. We follow up with two scheduled check-ins over the next 90 days, at no additional charge, to make sure the recommendations are landing.
Achievements
Clients in railway signalling, automotive Tier-1, consumer IoT, industrial automation, and medical devices have used this practice to unblock certifications, restructure embedded codebases, recover stalled radio programmes, and provide independent technical due diligence on acquisitions.
Some of the most rewarding engagements have been the shortest — a single day on-site that identified the architectural decision that needed to change for the rest of the programme to succeed.

Concept to Product
Bring us your idea at any stage — napkin sketch, partial spec, or a prototype that isn't quite working. We'll help you define, design, and build it into something real.
Whatever It Takes to Turn It On
Hardware, firmware, software, RF, mechanical integration — we don't hand off at the boundary. We own the full stack until the product works.
Make in India
Designed, assembled, and supported entirely from our Indian facilities.
