How to use System Workbench with DSPWorks LRWAN code

System Workbench is an open source eclipse based tool for STM32 MCU. The LRWAN from ST supports it and we’ve found it reasonably good for our application development.

For all using the DSPWorks LRWAN stack, I am putting in the steps on how to import our gitlab code into your Workspace.

Start with downloading and installing System Workbench 32. This should be pretty obvious.
Once you have checked out the code as well, follow the steps below:

Step 1:
Go to File and Import

2. Select “Existing Projects into Workspace”

3. Now browse to the folder: \STM32CubeExpansion_LRWAN_V1.1.1\Projects\Multi\Applications\LoRa\End_Node\SW4STM32\STM32L152RE-Nucleo\sx1276mb1mas

Ensure that the rootfolder is a short offset from the drive root since eclipse finds it difficult to build otherwise.

4. Congratulations! Now you have imported the code. Now right click and select properties

5. Change settings and symbols as below

6. Select right MCU and package

7. Build

This should get your going.
